2 Corinthians 5:7
Open in Bible Reader"For we live by faith, not by sight."
Faith is the foundation of our walk with God. It is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When life throws unexpected challenges our way, it can be tempting to rely on what we can see, touch, and measure. But God calls us to something greater.
Walking by faith means trusting God even when the path ahead is unclear. It means believing that His plans for you are good, even when circumstances seem difficult. Abraham left his homeland without knowing where he was going, simply because God told him to go. Moses stood at the edge of the Red Sea with an army behind him and trusted God to make a way.
Today, God is asking you to take a step of faith. Maybe it is forgiving someone who hurt you, starting something new that scares you, or simply surrendering a worry that has been weighing you down. Whatever it is, remember: the God who parted seas and moved mountains is the same God walking beside you today.
Prayer: Lord, strengthen my faith today. Help me to trust You even when I cannot see the full picture. I choose to walk by faith and not by sight. Amen.
