What Happened

Pursued by Pharaoh's army, the Israelites were trapped at the Red Sea. God parted the waters, allowing Israel to cross on dry ground. When the Egyptians pursued, God released the waters, destroying the entire army.

Biblical Significance

The parting of the Red Sea is the supreme demonstration of God's power over nature and enemies. It symbolizes salvation, deliverance from bondage, and the triumph of faith over impossible circumstances.
