Paul spent over two years in Ephesus, where the word of God spread throughout the Roman province of Asia. He wrote several epistles during this journey and collected an offering from Gentile churches for the suffering believers in Jerusalem.
The third journey saw massive Gospel growth and the writing of major epistles including Romans and the Corinthian letters. Paul's farewell to the Ephesian elders is one of the most moving pastoral speeches in Scripture.
