c. AD 30
On the third day after His crucifixion, Jesus rose bodily from the dead. Angels announced the empty tomb to the women who came with burial spices. Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, the disciples, and over five hundred witnesses during forty days.
The Resurrection is the cornerstone of Christianity. Without it, as Paul wrote, faith is futile. Christ's victory over death guarantees the future resurrection of all believers and validates everything He taught and claimed.
