Psalms

¹ Oh give thanks to Yahweh, call upon His name; Make known His acts among the peoples.

² Muse on all His wondrous deeds.

³ Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh be glad.

⁴ Seek His face continually.

⁵ His miracles and the judgments uttered by His mouth,

⁶ O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!

⁷ His judgments are in all the earth.

⁸ The word which He commanded for a thousand generations,

⁹ And His oath to Isaac.

¹⁰ To Israel as an everlasting covenant,

¹¹ As the portion of your inheritance,”

¹² Of little account, and sojourners in it.

¹³ From one kingdom to another people.

¹⁴ And He reproved kings for their sakes:

¹⁵ And to My prophets do no evil.”

¹⁶ He broke the whole staff of bread.

¹⁷ Joseph, who was sold as a slave.

¹⁸ He himself was laid in irons;

¹⁹ The word of Yahweh refined him.

²⁰ The ruler of peoples sent and set him free.

²¹ And ruler over all his possessions,

²² And that he might teach his elders wisdom.

²³ And Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

²⁴ And He caused them to be stronger than their adversaries.

²⁵ To deal craftily with His slaves.

²⁶ And Aaron, whom He had chosen.

²⁷ And miracles in the land of Ham.

²⁸ And they did not rebel against His words.

²⁹ And caused their fish to die.

³⁰ Even in the chambers of their kings.

³¹ And gnats in all their territory.

³² And flaming fire in their land.

³³ And He shattered the trees of their territory.

³⁴ And creeping locusts, without number,

³⁵ And they ate up the fruit of their ground.

³⁶ The first of all their vigor.

³⁷ And there was none among His tribes who stumbled.

³⁸ For the dread of them had fallen upon them.

³⁹ And fire to give light by night.

⁴⁰ And He satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

⁴¹ It ran in the dry places like a river.

⁴² With Abraham His servant;

⁴³ His chosen ones with a shout of joy.

⁴⁴ That they might take possession of the fruit of the peoples’ labor,

⁴⁵ And observe His laws, Praise Yah!
