Psalms

64

Legacy Standard Bible

1 For the choir director. A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; Guard my life from dread of the enemy.

2 From the tumult of the workers of iniquity,

3 They aimed bitter speech as their arrow,

4 Suddenly they shoot at him, and do not fear.

5 They talk of laying snares secretly; They say, “Who can see them?”

6 “We have completed a diligent search”; For the inward thought of a man and his heart are deep.

7 Suddenly they will be wounded.

8 All who see them will shake their head.

9 And they will declare the work of God, And will consider what He has done.

10 And all the upright in heart will boast.
