Psalms

¹ Praise Yah! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming.

² He gathers the outcasts of Israel.

³ And who binds up their wounds,

⁴ He gives names to all of them.

⁵ His discernment is infinite.

⁶ He brings down the wicked to the ground.

⁷ Sing praises to our God on the lyre.

⁸ The One who provides rain for the earth, The One who makes grass to sprout on the mountains,

⁹ And to the young ravens which call out.

¹⁰ He does not take pleasure in the legs of a man.

¹¹ Those who wait for His lovingkindness.

¹² Praise your God, O Zion!

¹³ He blessed your sons within you.

¹⁴ He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat,

¹⁵ His word runs very swiftly,

¹⁶ He scatters the frost like ashes,

¹⁷ Who can stand before His cold?

¹⁸ He causes His wind to blow and so the waters flow,

¹⁹ His statutes and His judgments to Israel.

²⁰ So as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise Yah!
