Psalms

¹ A Psalm of David. To bring to remembrance. O Yahweh, reprove me not in Your wrath, And discipline me not in Your burning anger.

² And Your hand has pressed down upon me.

³ There is no health in my bones because of my sin.

⁴ As a heavy burden they weigh too much for me.

⁵ Because of my folly.

⁶ I go mourning all day long.

⁷ And there is no soundness in my flesh.

⁸ I groan because of the agitation of my heart.

⁹ And my sighing is not hidden from You.

¹⁰ And the light of my eyes, even that has gone from me.

¹¹ And my kinsmen stand afar off.

¹² And those who seek to do me evil have threatened destruction, And they meditate on deception all day long.

¹³ And I am like a mute man who does not open his mouth.

¹⁴ And in whose mouth are no reproofs.

¹⁵ You will answer, O Lord my God.

¹⁶ Who, when my foot stumbles, magnify themselves against me.”

¹⁷ And my sorrow is continually before me.

¹⁸ I am full of anxiety because of my sin.

¹⁹ And those who wrongfully hate me abound.

²⁰ They accuse me, for I pursue what is good.

²¹ O my God, do not be far from me!

²² O Lord, my salvation!
