Psalms

66

Legacy Standard Bible

1 For the choir director. A Song. A Psalm. Make a loud shout to God, all the earth;

2 Establish His praise as glorious.

3 Because of the abundance of Your strength Your enemies will cower before You.

4 And will sing praises to You; They will sing praises to Your name.” Selah.

5 Who is fearsome in His deeds toward the sons of men.

6 They passed through the river on foot; There let us be glad in Him!

7 His eyes keep watch on the nations; Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

8 And make the sound of His praise heard,

9 And does not allow our feet to stumble.

10 You have refined us as silver is refined.

11 You established an oppressive burden upon our loins.

12 We went through fire and through water, Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.

13 I shall pay You my vows,

14 And my mouth spoke when I was in distress.

15 With the smoke of rams; I shall make an offering of bulls with male goats. Selah.

16 And I will recount what He has done for my soul.

17 And He was exalted with my tongue.

18 The Lord will not hear;

19 He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.

20 Who has not turned away my prayer Nor His lovingkindness from me.
